Starting March 1st, Google is really going to be looking through all the information you “provide them” in an attempt to provide you, the user, with better ads, promotions, etc.
I put provide them in quotes, because this includes any e-mails you send out/receive via Gmail, any searches (obviously) on Google, videos watch on YouTube, etc.
Of course this seems like an invasion of privacy, to me it’s just the Gmail part, but really the same thing happens with Facebook, our apps and any other tool we use that we allow to have our current location.
In my opinion, and perhaps I should be more appalled, I’d say just start looking at porn and searching on ways to kill someone on a public library computer. Other than that I guess you can stop watching YouTube and use Yahoo or MSN.
